Some rooms just never feel complete, no matter how many vases, lamps, and trinkets you’ve collected over the years. The secret ingredient? Texture. Like Skippy peanut butter and grape jelly on toast, a room needs texture — and layers of it. Nature, with its ready made supply of found objects, can be a cheap supply source when it comes to adding texture to your rooms. Grasses, branches, pods, and flowers become wreaths, hooks, or decorative fillers for centerpieces or vases. Best of all, they are free.
